Octogenarian Hu Peng-fei was feeling a bit low this winter, so his son, 50-year-old Taiwanese engineering firm president Hu Han-yan, devised a cure—he had Hello Kitty shaved into the back of his head. Demonstrating that everyone loves the mouthless feline, the elder Hu says he felt rejuvenated by the humorous styling.

Hu felt that his father would appreciate the character based on his wife, 3 mistresses, and a total of 14 children's affection for the character.
