A wide range of questions will be asked, including those on Hello Kitty's profile, such as how she came to wear her ribbon and details of past products .
The event will be held November 15 at Sanrio's theme park in Tokyo. The champion will take home tickets to the Hello Kitty resort cottage in Taiwan.
For the contest, Sanrio has released a study book containing 300 multiple-choice questions. The book has four sections from beginner to advanced levels and comes with a suggested retail price of 1,050 yen (US$10.98).
