Popular self-serve frozen yogurt chain Yogurtland announced that it will partner later this month with Sanrio, whose most popular brand is Hello Kitty.
The Anaheim-based frozen yogurt chain plans to feature special Hello Kitty spoons and cups in stores later this month to celebrate the partnership, said Larry Sidoti, the chain’s vice president of development and operations. Yogurtland will also feature Hello Kitty merchandise in some of its stores.
“There’s a lot of cultural compatibility between the two companies—especially in business practices,” Sidoti said.Yogurtland, which operates 130 shops, will host a launch party to celebrate the partnership at its Beverly Connection store in Los Angeles on July 20. Stay tuned for more details.
